I think I keep trying to reconcile the concept, right? That there is some sort of definitive conclusion that inevitably has to come. Sometimes the ending really and truly is ALWAYS waiting closely in the wings.

Or descending, quickly

Or just over the horizon, out of sight but never quite out of mind.

Maybe you pick up where you leave off. The laugh that hangs in the air and swirls around for eons. It resembles something known, comforting, and safe. SOMETIMES it seems that the we can keep operating within the exact framework we all learn to expect.

But I think, especially this time, as foolish as it seems on the surface, the smallest bits, the most insignificant details, NEVER

quite disappear, at least, not in the ways that we expect.
